The problem: Everyone is talking about Mental Health but mostly on the grounds of the medical condition and diagnosis where such conditions are still being stigmatized and awareness creation is mostly around the label.

Children as young as 4 years of age are being given medications for being overactive instead of just being seen as kids. Adolescent boys and girls are being put on antidepressants for anger issues instead of addressing the root of their anger and frustrations that come with puberty. Over the years of working in Mental Health, we have understood that diagnosing and labelling of anyone can happen within minutes, however long term solutions and care are still not proving much functionality. On the other hand, normalcy and madness are very relative terms in a world that is constantly stereotyping and judging anyone who is any different. The problem is not about a 'disorder' but the way in how society perceives and accepts those who are cognitively and emotionally different than they are, which comprises of everyone.
